Learners Who Have Been Appointed as a Leader For 2026

It is a great privilege to be selected as a Leader at Blairgowrie Primary School. Their teachers and peers believe that they demonstrate suitable leadership potential. Leaders earn respect for being role models for other children to look up to. Being a Leader is also a great responsibility. One that requires maturity, integrity and commitment. They are expected to lead by example, knowing that other children in the school will take their cues from you. If they behave irresponsibly, so will they.

They have been specially selected to be a leader, and we know that they are going to be wonderful.
This is their time to shine!

At Blairgowrie Primary School, leadership is not a badge. It is a commitment to excellence, service and role-modelling. Our appointed Leaders for 2026 have been chosen because they demonstrate the character, responsibility and potential that inspire others. As representatives of our school community, they work hand in hand with educators and peers to help create a positive, respectful and disciplined environment where effective learning can thrive.

To Be The Best Leader You Can Be, You Have To:

▪ respect all staff
▪ respect your peers
▪ take pride in your appearance
▪ get involved in extra-murals
▪ volunteer to help
▪ do your homework
▪ keep yourself out of detention
▪ arrive at your duty on time
▪ focus on doing your duty; do not stand around socialising when you’re on duty

Shaping Young Leaders of Integrity at Blairgowrie Primary

Leaders uphold the highest standards of behaviour, take pride in their conduct and fulfil their responsibilities with diligence. By completing their schoolwork, avoiding disciplinary issues and showing commitment to school service, they set the tone for the entire learner body. When leaders act responsibly, the school follows.

Beyond daily duties, the leadership programme at Blairgowrie Primary is designed to develop young people holistically. It builds mentoring abilities, strengthens public-speaking skills and nurtures the confidence needed to guide and uplift others. Leaders are encouraged to motivate their peers to care for their learning environment, demonstrate respect and courtesy, uphold school values, practise responsibility and cleanliness, and protect school resources both inside and outside the classroom.

By promoting connection, teamwork, accountability and service, the programme shapes responsible future citizens who understand that leadership requires humility, consistency and heart. It inspires all learners, not only those appointed as leaders, to strive for excellence in academics, conduct and personal well-being.

Through this intentional, inclusive leadership journey, Blairgowrie Primary continues to develop learners who will lead with integrity, compassion and strength… both now and in the years to come.
